About Me

Hi, I am a third year undergraduate mechanical student in Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal.
My area of interest primarily lies in Computer Aided Design(CAD), Computer Aided Analysis(CAA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD). I aspire to do Masters in Aerospace Engineering and work as a design engineer in the aero industry.
Besides, I work in the field of hydroponics and volunteer for social causes a lot. I also love writing and have my own poetry page. I also take part in various races as well as Manipal Marathon.

MY WORK

Almost all of my relevant work started in college. Be it the clubs, student projects or curriculum projects, college has kept me busy for most part of it! During the course of these, I did gain some skills. I have also been part of some or the other research project under the guidance of various faculties.
So broadly my work can be classified into projects, skills and research.

PROJECTS

  1. MOTOMANIPAL - As a part of the aerodynamics subsystem, designed and manufactured using composites the fairing, seat, mudguard and other external parts of an electric bike.
  2. INSULATOR - Worked in collaboration with MPower, Duke University to make a modular insulator that can be used for transporting fruits and vegetables. It stood sixth in the prestigious hult prize.
  3. PASTEURIZER - Built a mobile table top milk pasteurizer as part of Lakshya-The Agri Club in active collaboration with Innovation Center, MIT.
  4. DRONE - Designed a hexacopter drone with a petrol engine for pesticide spraying. It won the first prize in IEEE paper presentation. Currently awaiting funds to build the prototype.
  5. HYDROPONICS - Worked as part of Lakshya-The Agri Club to design and build a hydroponics system of cultivation funded by Food Court-2, MIT, Manipal; the produce of which is being used in the food cooked at FC-2.
